Effective 25 August 2026 · Last updated 25 August 2026

StormLife LLC (“StormLife,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to transparency about how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and protected.

This policy applies to personal information collected through the StormLife website, email communications, forms, applications, purchases, registrations and other interactions with StormLife.

By using our website or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you interact with StormLife.

  • Name, email address and telephone number
  • Mailing and billing address
  • Information submitted through contact, inquiry, application, registration or interest forms
  • Newsletter and email subscription information
  • Communications you send to us
  • Preferences and interests you choose to share
  • Purchase and transaction information
  • Information reasonably necessary to administer an experience, programme or service for which you register
  • Anything else you voluntarily provide

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our technology providers may automatically collect information through cookies, pixels, analytics tools, server logs and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
  • Referring website or source
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, searches and other interactions
  • Date and time of visits
  • Approximate geographic location derived from an IP address
  • How visitors navigate the website, and how recipients interact with our communications

2. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to operate and maintain our website; respond to questions and inquiries; process applications and registrations; provide information you request; communicate with you about StormLife experiences, programmes, products and services; send newsletters, Journal updates, invitations and educational content where permitted; manage subscriptions and preferences; process purchases, deposits and payments; administer The Sovereign Queen Immersion and other StormLife experiences; provide customer service; maintain records; understand how visitors use our website; improve our content and communications; measure the effectiveness of our marketing; deliver or measure advertising; maintain security; detect or prevent fraud; enforce our agreements; and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or contractual obligations.

We may also use information for other purposes disclosed to you at collection or with your consent.

3. Email communications

StormLife uses ActiveCampaign to manage email subscriptions, newsletters, marketing communications and related subscriber information. When you subscribe or otherwise provide your email address, information such as your name, email address, subscription preferences and interactions with our communications may be processed through ActiveCampaign.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any marketing message. Unsubscribing does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional, administrative or service-related communications concerning an application, registration, purchase, payment or other existing relationship.

4. Payments

StormLife uses Stripe to process online payments. When you make a payment, Stripe may collect and process the information necessary to complete the transaction, which may include your name, contact information, billing information, payment-card information, transaction and device information, and information used for fraud prevention.

StormLife may receive transaction-related information from Stripe, such as your name, contact details, amount paid, payment status, transaction identifier and related purchase information. StormLife does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

Stripe may act as a processor when facilitating payments on our behalf, and as a controller for certain activities it determines itself, including fraud prevention and compliance with financial-sector obligations. Stripe’s handling of personal information is governed by its own privacy practices.

5. Hosting and website analytics

Our website is hosted through Squarespace, which provides infrastructure, hosting, functionality, security and analytics services that may involve processing visitor information.

We use Squarespace Analytics to understand website traffic and activity, including page views, visitor activity, referrals, conversions and other interactions.

6. Google Analytics

StormLife uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors discover and use our website. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about website interactions, devices, traffic sources and pages visited. We use this to evaluate website performance, improve our content, and understand how visitors find StormLife. Google’s processing is subject to its own privacy practices.

7. Meta Pixel

StormLife uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., in connection with Facebook and Instagram advertising and measurement. The Meta Pixel may collect or receive information about your interaction with our website, browser, device, pages visited and actions taken, which helps us:

  • Understand how visitors interact with StormLife after encountering our content or advertising
  • Measure advertising effectiveness and understand conversions
  • Create or refine audiences for advertising
  • Deliver more relevant advertising where permitted

Meta processes information collected through the Pixel according to its own terms and privacy practices. Because technologies of this kind can enable information about online activity to be collected or used for advertising, you may have privacy rights or opt-out choices regarding this processing depending on where you live.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

StormLife and our service providers use cookies, pixels and similar technologies for:

  • Necessary functions — operating the website, maintaining security, enabling checkout, remembering privacy preferences
  • Analytics and performance — understanding how visitors use the site and measuring performance
  • Marketing and advertising — measuring campaigns, understanding conversions, building audiences and supporting relevant advertising

Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You may also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies; blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality.

9. Your cookie choices

Where available, you may use the StormLife cookie-preference controls to accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies. You may also control cookies through your browser settings and, where applicable, through privacy controls provided by Google, Meta or other technology providers.

Rejecting non-essential cookies may reduce the information available to us through analytics and advertising technologies, but will not prevent access to the StormLife website.

10. How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to companies and professionals that help us operate our website, communications, business and experiences, including Squarespace, ActiveCampaign, Stripe, Google and Meta Platforms; website and technology providers; analytics providers; email and communications providers; payment and fraud-prevention providers; customer-service and administrative providers; professional advisers including attorneys and accountants; and travel, accommodation, transportation, hospitality or experience providers where reasonably necessary to administer an experience for which you have registered.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order or lawful government request; to protect the rights, safety, property or security of StormLife, our participants, visitors or others; to detect, investigate or prevent fraud, abuse or security incidents; to enforce agreements or protect legal rights; or to complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, sale of assets or similar transaction.

StormLife does not sell personal information for monetary payment. Certain analytics and advertising technologies, including the Meta Pixel, may involve disclosures or uses that can be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising” or similar activities under some privacy laws. Where those laws apply, we will provide the choices they require.

11. Third-party websites and services

Our website may link to third-party websites, social networks, payment services, travel providers or other online services. StormLife does not control those third parties or their privacy practices. When you leave our website or interact directly with another provider, that provider’s privacy policy and terms apply. We encourage you to review them.

12. Do Not Track and browser privacy signals

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals or other browser-based privacy mechanisms. Because there is no universally accepted standard governing traditional DNT signals, our website may not respond uniformly to them.

StormLife uses third-party analytics and advertising technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, that may enable third parties to collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites and online services.

Where applicable law requires us to recognise a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, we will endeavour to honour that signal as required by law.

13. Your privacy choices and requests

You may contact StormLife to request that we provide information about the personal information we hold about you; correct or update inaccurate information; delete certain personal information where applicable; update your communication preferences; or answer questions about how your personal information is used.

To make a privacy request, email info@stormlife.global. Please include enough information for us to understand and respond. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

We may retain information where reasonably necessary to complete transactions, maintain business or financial records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements or comply with legal obligations.

14. California privacy

The California Online Privacy Protection Act requires operators of commercial websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to conspicuously post a privacy policy describing their privacy practices. This policy is provided in accordance with that requirement.

Depending on which California privacy laws apply to StormLife and the circumstances of a particular request, California residents may have rights concerning access to, correction of, deletion of, or certain uses and disclosures of personal information. Requests may be submitted to info@stormlife.global.

StormLife will not unlawfully discriminate against anyone for exercising applicable privacy rights.

15. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, legal, accounting, tax, security and contractual purposes. Retention periods vary by type of information and by our relationship with you. Transaction information, for example, may be retained for financial, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or legal purposes after other information has been deleted.

16. Data security

StormLife uses reasonable administrative, organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Our service providers, including Stripe and Squarespace, maintain security measures relating to the services they provide.

No internet transmission, electronic storage system, payment system or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

17. Children’s privacy

StormLife’s website, communications, programmes and experiences are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we become aware that we have done so without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

18. International visitors

StormLife LLC is based in San Francisco, California, United States. If you access our website from outside the United States, personal information may be transferred to, processed in or stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.

If StormLife’s activities become subject to additional international privacy requirements, including those relating to European Economic Area or United Kingdom residents, we will implement appropriate measures as required.

19. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our website, services, technology, business practices, service providers or legal obligations. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
