The Fine Print, Held with Care
Terms & Conditions
The Sovereign Queen Immersion · StormLife Global
1Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between StormLife Global ("StormLife," "we," "us") and each participant ("you," "Participant") who reserves a place in The Sovereign Queen Immersion ("the Immersion"). By submitting a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in full. If you register on behalf of another person, you are responsible for ensuring she has read and accepted these Terms.
2The Immersion
The Immersion is a twelve-day, eleven-night guided experience in Egypt, limited to eight participants, taking place April 20 – May 1, 2027. It includes the accommodations, transportation, experiences, meals, and inclusions described on the StormLife website and in your confirmation materials at the time of booking. Accommodation is single occupancy; each Participant is provided her own private room throughout. Inclusions and the itinerary are described in good faith and may be subject to reasonable changes (see Section 9).
3Eligibility & Age
Acceptance into the Immersion is by application and at StormLife's sole discretion. Participants must hold a valid passport meeting Egypt's entry requirements (generally valid for at least six months beyond the travel dates) and obtain any required visa, and must be in sufficient health to participate (see Section 8).
Participants aged eighteen (18) and over may enroll independently. A participant aged fourteen (14) to seventeen (17) may attend only when accompanied throughout by a participating adult who is her parent, legal guardian, or an adult who has assumed written responsibility for her. Participants under the age of fourteen (14) cannot be accommodated. In such cases:
- A parent or legal guardian must read, agree to, and sign these Terms and all associated waivers and releases on the minor's behalf; a minor cannot independently accept this agreement.
- The accompanying adult is a booked Participant and is responsible for the minor's supervision, wellbeing, and conduct at all times during the Immersion. StormLife does not provide childcare or guardianship.
- The minor occupies her own paid place within the cohort at the full investment, with her own single-occupancy accommodation. A minor's place is not complimentary and counts toward the eight-participant limit.
- The accompanying adult accepts responsibility for the minor's compliance with these Terms and for any costs arising from the minor's participation.
4Booking & Payment Schedule
Your place is confirmed only upon receipt of your deposit and StormLife's written confirmation. The total investment is $19,700 USD per Participant, payable as follows:
- 25% — Deposit, due to reserve your place.
- 50% — Second payment, due ninety (90) days before departure.
- 25% — Final payment, due thirty (30) days before departure.
All amounts are in U.S. dollars. Payments may be made by [CONFIRM accepted methods]. Certain on-the-ground settlements may be arranged separately and will be disclosed privately to confirmed Participants before departure. Failure to pay any installment by its due date may be treated as a cancellation by you under Section 5. [CONFIRM any payment-plan variations.]
5Cancellation by You
All cancellations must be made in writing to info@stormlife.global and are effective on the date we receive them. Because the Immersion is intentionally limited to eight participants and requires substantial non-recoverable commitments made well in advance, the following applies regardless of the reason for cancellation — including illness, injury, family emergency, travel disruption, visa denial, or personal circumstances:
- Deposit (25%): Non-refundable, but transferable and convertible to a future StormLife cohort, subject to availability and any price difference.
- Within 5 days of paying your deposit: Deposit fully refundable.
- More than 90 days before departure: 50% of total refunded.
- 60–90 days before departure: 25% of total refunded.
- 31–59 days before departure: 10% of total refunded.
- 30 days or less before departure: No refund.
- Failure to attend / no-show: No refund.
Refunds, where applicable, are calculated on the total investment and issued to the original payment method within [CONFIRM number] days. A deposit may be transferred to a future cohort once. [CONFIRM whether a second transfer is allowed.]
This policy exists because your reservation immediately triggers contractual commitments to third-party suppliers that StormLife cannot recover. Because these losses are difficult to quantify precisely, the amounts retained represent a genuine pre-estimate of StormLife's loss and are not a penalty.
6Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for every Participant. We strongly advise a policy that includes, at minimum, trip cancellation and interruption, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation, travel delay, and lost or delayed baggage.
You acknowledge that travel insurance is your responsibility, and that if you choose not to obtain it, you do so at your own risk. StormLife's cancellation policy (Section 5) applies regardless of whether you hold insurance. Where a cancellation reason would ordinarily be covered by travel insurance, your recourse is through your insurer, not through StormLife. StormLife is not an insurer and does not provide, arrange, or guarantee any coverage.
7Passports, Visas & Entry
You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, the correct visa, and any vaccinations or documentation required for entry into Egypt. StormLife is not responsible for any loss, cost, or inability to participate arising from your failure to meet these requirements, and no refund will be issued in such cases beyond what Section 5 provides.
8Health, Fitness & Assumption of Risk
The Immersion involves international travel and activities that may include walking on uneven terrain, heat exposure, early mornings, boat travel, and optional activities such as horseback riding or hot-air ballooning. By participating, you:
- Confirm you are in adequate physical and mental health to participate, and will disclose in advance any medical condition, allergy, dietary requirement, mobility limitation, or medication that may affect your participation.
- Understand that some activities are optional and that you may decline any activity.
- Acknowledge that travel to and within Egypt carries inherent risks — including illness, injury, accident, crime, political events, and force majeure — which you voluntarily assume.
- Agree that StormLife may, but is not obligated to, arrange emergency care on your behalf at your expense, and that you are responsible for the cost of any medical treatment, evacuation, or repatriation.
[CONFIRM: a separately signed liability waiver / release and medical disclosure form is strongly advised in addition to these Terms — your attorney should prepare these.]
9Changes by StormLife
StormLife plans each Immersion with great care, but some elements depend on third parties and conditions beyond our control. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodations, guides, or activities where necessary, substituting comparable alternatives of equivalent standard wherever possible. Minor changes do not entitle you to a refund.
If StormLife must cancel the Immersion entirely for reasons within its control, you will be offered a transfer to a future cohort or a refund of amounts paid, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf. [CONFIRM refund posture on StormLife-initiated cancellation with your attorney.]
10Force Majeure
StormLife is not liable for any failure or delay in performance, or for any cancellation, change, or loss, arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic or epidemic, government action, travel restrictions or advisories, border or airport closures, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, or supplier failure ("Force Majeure Event").
In such an event, StormLife will act in good faith to offer a transfer to a future cohort or a partial refund of any funds recoverable from suppliers, but is not obligated to refund non-recoverable costs. This is why comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. [CONFIRM Force Majeure refund posture with your attorney.]
11Conduct
The Immersion is an intimate shared experience. StormLife may remove any Participant whose conduct, in StormLife's reasonable judgment, endangers or unreasonably disrupts the safety, wellbeing, or experience of others, or violates local law. No refund is due in such cases, and any costs arising from removal (including return travel) are the Participant's responsibility.
12Photography & Media
The Immersion includes professional photography. [CONFIRM posture: appears-with-opt-out, or opt-in.] By participating, you grant StormLife the right to use images in which you appear for its marketing and promotional purposes, without compensation. You may opt out by notifying StormLife in writing before the Immersion begins. For any minor, the parent or legal guardian controls this consent. [A separate photo release is recommended.]
13Intellectual Property
The Sovereign Queen, The Sovereign Queen Immersion, The Sovereign Queen Codex, Queen Codes, and all associated experiences, teachings, written works, imagery, designs, activations, ceremonies, and intellectual property are the exclusive property of StormLife Global, protected under United States and international law. Materials provided to you are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, recorded, taught, or used commercially without StormLife's prior written permission.
14Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StormLife's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Immersion shall not exceed the total amount you paid to StormLife. StormLife acts as an organizer and coordinator and is not liable for the acts, omissions, or default of any third-party supplier, nor for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. [This clause must be reviewed and tailored by your attorney; enforceability varies by jurisdiction.]
15Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [CONFIRM jurisdiction, e.g. State of California, USA], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved by [CONFIRM mechanism: negotiation, then mediation/arbitration, or the courts of your jurisdiction].
16Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your booking confirmation and any separately signed waiver, photo release, or medical disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and StormLife regarding the Immersion, superseding any prior representations. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
17Acceptance
By submitting your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. Where the Participant is a minor, her parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms on her behalf.
